Host cell derived impurities such as host-cell proteins (HCP) and DNA can affect product quality, safety, and efficacy.

The impact of intermediate wash conditions during the initial capture step of Protein A will be reviewed during this webinar. Conditions such as pH, salt concentration and additives, including chaotropic agents, organic solvents and surfactants, were examined.

We also demonstrate the use of LC-MS analysis for identifying and monitoring HCPs.
